Battered Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce


Serves 4

Easy Beer Batter (Original) or Tasty Tempura Batter for gluten free alternative.
4 fish fillets of choice patted dry
2 tablespoons butter, chilled
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh (or 1 teaspoon dry) dill
Salt and white pepper to taste


  1. Melt butter with garlic in warm (not hot!) pan or small pot. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper to the butter and stir, warming briefly over medium heat, 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add dill and stir through.
  3. Batter and cook fish as per Fogdog packet instructions.
  4. Drain battered fillets on paper towels and serve with choice of salad or sides. Drizzle sauce over fish or serve on the side in a dipping bowl.
